I’m so excited to finally get a chance to share this amazing wedding that I photographed in June!!
Heather and Chris contacted me last year to photograph their wedding. They live outside of NYC and were traveling back to PA to say their vows. That was quite a coincidence because I used to live in NYC, and their Erie wedding was being held at the Fairplain Farm—literally just down the street from where I grew up in Lake City!! On top of being held at a farm, the theme was “colorful” which, if anyone knows me – I heart farms and I heart colorful. It was like it was destined to be, so I hoofed it back up to PA from FL and it was totally worth it!
I LOVE the lemonade stand that the couple set up. It was perfectly placed so that guests could grab a drink to carry with them as they walked down the long dirt road leading to the ceremony site. I am also in love with the programs the couple designed and printed themselves. Not only did they design their own programs, but they also made their own save the dates, invitations, RSVP’s and thank you’s! How incredibly talented are these two?!
After portraits we headed back to the tent where there was so many awesome little details. It was gorgeous.
Catering was provided by Make It Fabulous Catering. It was as delicious as it looks.
The photobooth was a huge hit at H&D’s reception, as well as the customized fake tattoo’s that once again, H&D designed. The rest of the night was spent as it should be – enjoying the company of family and friends and dancing like rockstars obviously.
Had such a great day with these two… and had so much fun going through the pictures again to re-live the day and create this blog post! If only every wedding could be as creative and personalized as this one.
