Taking a Break to Play in the Dirt | Erie PA Photographer

It is hard to sit inside and edit on such a beautiful day, but it IS part of the job and I couldn’t procrastinate because I’m going to Cleveland tomorrow with a couple of friends to see an awesome show (WOOT!!!) So it is totally worth it.

Grr and I took a break this evening though to go play outside, and as you can see… she LOVES the dirt.  She loves to lay in it, she loves to dig in it, she loves to eat it.  To make a long story short, she thinks dirt is the bee’s knees.  I was thinking that since the weather is so nice that I should give her a bath… but I think that may be a pointless task…

She definitely keeps me on my toes and entertained!!!

Well, Nikki, after reading your reply to the disgruntled bride about the high cost of wedding photographers (not to mention your work, of course!), you went high on my list of favorite fellow photogs. Now that I see you have a boxer for a companion, you jumped up a couple more notches! Great doggies, boxers, and Grr appears to be fine proof of that. Have had several over the years and have loved (and missed) every moment spent with them. My last one, Jake, was the best of the bunch and will be difficult to top. Stayed untethered in the yard, waited patiently at the back door to be let in and loved going for rides in the car. I also had to wake HIM up in the morning to go out! Glad you kept her ears uncropped. What a cutie!! Thanks for posting, gave me a big smile. If that lower left pic isn’t a typical boxer look, I don’t know what is.

Aw, she’s a cutie! But I can see how a bath might just make a more muddy mess for you to deal with later. 🙂
