I had the best engagement shoot ever today with Emily and Aaron. This couple was SO MUCH fun, I seriously wish we could do it again tomorrow, and the next and the next.
Emily and Aaron live and work down in Northern Virginia and are up visiting with family for Thanksgiving, so we decided to squeeze our engagement session in while they were town. We picked today (leaving us a few other days incase the weather didn’t cooperate, but surprisingly it did!) I would have liked a LITTLE sun at least, but hey. I am definitely NOT complaining with the way these pictures turned out! I. am. in. love.
Emily asked when they were going to be able to see the photos, and I told her I would probably get a few teasers up tonight. Then I jokingly said “or like 50 if I love them all”… Well… Guess what??? I loved them all. I didn’t quite post 50, but this couple is going to have about 400 photos to choose from.

Emily and I have been exchanging e-mails back and forth for about a month about style / location etc… and it turns out we are both Pinterest lovers (me thanks to another one of my gorgeous brides, Kristen). Emily mentioned wanting to use balloons for props (which I immediately LOVED the idea) and they showed up today with these HUGE balloons that barely fit in the back of Aarons truck.
There is nothing better than a shoot with a couple who is as excited and into it as I am. And these guys were SO sweet. You can tell that they genuinely enjoy each others company and are best friends. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding next June!! <3 XOXOXOX

Nice shoot N! Love the balloons.
